After studying Electrical
Engineering in South Africa, Colin spent his
time working for both the SABC (South African
Broadcasting Corporation) and a private
facility (Chroma Television).
Colin emigrated to Australia
in 1987. First starting work at Videopak and
then progressing to Australian Medical
Television where he was chief engineer. In
1992 The OB Group was formed.
Initially starting out with 4 partners
(hence the name), Colin soon became the sole
owner of the business.
The company is now in its
20th year of operation.
With a total of 34 years
in broadcasting Colin brings a wealth of
knowledge and experience to the broadcast industry.
Colin has been
married since 1982 and has 2 boys - aged 23 and
19.
Colin has a
passion for flying light aircraft. With the
holder of an unrestricted pilots licence since
1984, he spends his spare time in the air.
